Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Home Comfort Lab (“we”) processes personal data. Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom are covered by the GDPR / UK GDPR; visitors from California may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

1. Controller

The controller for this website is the operator of Home Comfort Lab. You can reach us at any time through our contact page.

2. Data we process and legal basis

Contact form: when you send us a message, we process your name, email address and message to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser, date and time of access, to keep the website secure and running (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Advertising and measurement: we use tools such as Google Ads (gtag.js) and click and conversion tracking tools to measure the performance of our advertising; where required by law, this only happens with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Cookies and affiliate links

Because we participate in affiliate programs, cookies and URL parameters may be used to identify the origin of your click, so that commissions can be attributed if you make a purchase on a partner website. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings.

4. Recipients and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by our hosting provider and by the advertising tools mentioned above, some of which may be located outside your country; in such cases, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. This website links to external websites, such as official product stores, whose privacy policies we do not control.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Contact messages are deleted once your request has been handled, unless legal retention obligations apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, please use our contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
